Join us as we celebrate the music of NW artists with the release of Volume I of the "Local Roots" radio show compilation CD at the Level B Theater Pub in Salem on May 31st. All ages welcome! The CD celebrates some of the amazing music we have here in the Pacific Northwest with 21 artists from all around the region donating music to this project. All of the artists have been featured on the Local Roots radio show hosted by Robert Richter heard every Sunday night at 7 pm on community radio KMUZ-FM. The event will be co-hosted by Richter and Salem singer/songwriter Molly-Kate, who also contributed a track to the CD. There will be live performances from many of the artists appearing on the compilation CD as well as a raffle and other surprises. Cost is only $10 at the door and everyone attending will receive a "free copy" of the "Local Roots" Volume I compilation CD. Proceeds for the event will go to community radio KMUZ to help with operating expenses. Make your plans to join us. Doors open at 6:30 pm and the music starts at 7:30 pm.
